VinRobotics Attracts Visitors at International Technology Events
VinRobotics’ technological capabilities showcased at two technology events
At Computex Taipei 2026, held from June 2-5 in Taiwan (China), the VR-H3 robot version from VinRobotics was one of the highlights, demonstrating a series of flexible and natural movements while interacting with numerous visitors. This technology event featured around 1,500 businesses and nearly 6,000 booths.

Mr. Ngo Quoc Hung, General Director of VinRobotics, stated that the company’s robotic platforms are developed with practical applications in mind, focusing on operational capabilities in real-life environments rather than merely serving technology demonstrations. “This is a trend pursued by many global technology corporations in the field of embodied AI, where artificial intelligence can process data and integrate directly into robots to move, interact, and adapt to real-life situations,” Mr. Hung said.
During this event, the Tech Talks presentation on June 2 by the General Director of VinRobotics also drew attention from technology experts, as the Vietnamese representative emphasized the roadmap for mastering robot platforms, affirming the in-depth R&D capabilities of the Vietnamese engineering team.

At the same time, the VR-H3 robot from VinRobotics was also displayed and introduced in Europe during the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) 2026, held in Vienna (Austria) from June 1-5. Unlike Computex Taipei, ICRA is regarded as an influential academic and industry conference in the robotics field, featuring thousands of experts, businesses, and research institutes such as Google Deepmind, Nvidia, Boston Dynamics, and MIT.
At this event, the engineers and scientists from VinRobotics showcased and demonstrated their core technology capabilities with the VR-H3 robot. According to the company, this is a comprehensive foundational technology solution, from the robotic device to core components such as the robotic hand system and high-performance motors, all developed independently by Vietnamese engineers.
VinRobotics’ engineers and scientists also participated in in-depth discussion sessions, directly exchanging information related to motion control, embodied AI, and the practical applications of robots.
A highlight of VinRobotics in Austria was the VR-H3 robot’s natural performance before the public at the Festival der Roboter 2026, an outdoor robot festival in Karlsplatz Square (Vienna) on May 30-31.

After activities at ICRA 2026, VinRobotics collaborated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Austria to organize the Vietnam Robot Tech Day 2026 technology diplomacy event on June 5, themed “Vietnam Steps into the World”, aiming to expand connections with the European technology ecosystem and promote collaboration opportunities in the fields of robotics and AI.
Vietnam’s technological position on the global robotics map
According to technology experts, the presence of VinRobotics and the VR-H3 robot version at these two international events has contributed to establishing Vietnam’s technological position in the field. Both events are platforms for shaping industry standards in hardware, AI architecture, and comprehensive supply chain solutions for robotics.
According to VinRobotics, the company is ready to contribute to the overall development of the industry by announcing a strategy to gradually open-source foundational robotics technologies. Open-source is a factor that can help the global robot development community access easily, learn from each other, and create robotic applications that bring real value to life.
Sharing about this strategy, General Director Ngo Quoc Hung stated that the company wants its technology products developed by Vietnamese engineers to increasingly stand out in the global embodied robotics and AI wave. “That is why we decided to gradually open-source some related technologies, creating a shared knowledge source for the community, promoting the development of the global robotics industry,” Mr. Hung said.
He believes this is a significant shift in the role and position of VinRobotics, as well as Vietnam’s high-tech industry on the global technology map, contributing to solving major challenges in the AI era.
